  1. Responsibilities
    1.1 Final approval of the annual TCOVE ROP budget, interim reports, budget revisions and district ADA distribution
    1.2 Final approval of all TCOVE ROP Administration positions, both classified and certificated
    1.3 Certification to the California Department of Education that attendance and expenditure accounting are legally correct
    1.4 Instructional programs course approval and certification to the California Department of Education that the instructional programs are congruent with filed plans
    1.5 Ensuring that a capable Director is employed to manage the program
    1.6 Annual review of the Director’s performance
    1.7 Making policy to be implemented by the Director
    1.8 Reviewing and acting upon matters brought to it by the Director
    1.9 Holding public meetings and receiving information regarding its programs
     
  2. Membership Composition
    One designated Board member and alternate from each TCOVE ROP member district.
     
  3. Meeting dates, times and locations will be determined by the Board.

    August General Meeting
    September Annual Financial Report, District Agreements, Course Approvals, Pro-Rata Percentages and ADA Distribution
    October General Meeting
    November First Interim Report, Review Director’s Contract
    December No Meeting Scheduled
    January Seating of New Board Members
    February Second Interim Report, Board Reorganization, Authorized Signatures and Audit Report
    March Tentative Budget
    April General Meeting
    May Public Hearing/Budget Adoption, Staff Contracts, Calendars, and Course Approvals
    June General Meeting
