As part of ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade the skills
of local public safety personnel the College of the Sequoias
has established, at the TCOVE Training Center, a Perishable
Skills Training Center. This project is being funded through
a Police Officer Standards
Training grant and will be operational
by April 2003.
The Perishable Skills Training Center is comprised of a
DORON Precision
Systems, Inc. four station driving simulator
lab, an IES Interactive
Training, Range 3000 XP4 force-option
simulator lab, a Cedergrens
Skid Car for advanced driver
training , and a large multi-use classroom.
