Advance Livestock Management – This
course provides students with the opportunity to explore the
various segments of the total livestock industry. Students
will learn basic managerial skills involved in raising of
those breeds of sheep, swine and beef that are important to
the industry. Through direct applications, utilizing a district-operated
farm, students concentrate on feeding practices, basic veterinarian
skills, systems of breeding and a study of the various animal
systems.
