Distributive Occupation Training – Career Skills
- This course is specifically designed for students with learning
disabilities. Enrollment is both coordinated by district Special
Education staff and part of the Individual Education Plan
(IEP) process. Course of study and practical application covers
career building skills such as how personal skill development
affects ones employability, group dynamics, conflict resolution,
problem solving, employee/employer relationships, effective
communication, personal hygiene, occupational safety, career
exploration and job application completion.
