Computer Accounting – This course
is designed to give students a hands-on approach to automated
accounting. Software accounting programs and spreadsheet accounting
are presented. Students will use the computer to journalize
transactions into general ledger, accounts payable, accounts
receivable, payroll and financial statements. Also covered
are sole proprietorship, partnership, and corporate accounting
procedures. There will be a brief exposure to tax procedures
and forms.
