Entrepreneurship/Small Business Operation
– The primary objective of this course is to prepare
students for careers in business management or business ownership.
The main components of the course are U.S. economics, business
environment, world economics systems, social responsibility,
forms of business ownership, managing and organizing a business,
managing human resources, marketing, business tools, finance,
tax systems, and career strategies. Worksite cooperative vocational
placement is a major instructional unit at the Mt. Whitney
High School course section.
