The Tulare County Organization for Vocational Education, Regional
Occupational
Program (TCOVE ROP) is, as are all public K-12 school districts,
funded through state apportionment generated through recording
of student average daily attendance (ADA).
California Education Code dictates that a separate attendance
accounting system be utilized that documents actual time ROP
enrolled students are in class. TCOVE ROP has in place a California
Department of Education state approved system that must be
followed to meet state fiscal audit requirements.
The TCOVE ROP course instructor is the primary individual
responsible for accurately following the established enrollment
and attendance accounting process and procedures.
The TCOVE ROP district attendance contact person is expected
to assist in both the timely distribution and collection of
attendance data collection documents and necessary student
follow-up study documents.
At all times the TCOVE ROP staff is available to assist in
all matters associated with student services. If clarification
