TCOVE ROP Instructor Responsibilities

• Teach related class
• Assist in career planning and guidance
• Locate and select OJT placement sites
• Conduct OJT placement site visits
• Plan OJT placement site learning experiences
• Prepare Individualized Training Plans
• Monitor and evaluate students
• Maintain records

TCOVE ROP On-the-Job Training Supervision Requirements

• Teacher/Supervisor Visits
       Community Classroom
            Once every 3 weeks
            Observe student every visit
       Cooperative Vocational Education
            Once every 4 weeks
            Observe student every other visit
• On-the Job Training Supervision Time
       1 hour per week for every 5 students
• On-the-Job Training Supervision
       TCOVE ROP Instructor of Related Class must visit OJT sites

Required Records for Community Classroom and Cooperative Vocational Education

• Community Classroom Training Agreement
       One agreement per student per OJT placement site
• Individualized Training Plan
       One per student
• Supervision Visits
• OJT placement site location list
• Student Evaluation
• Attendance
• Work Permits (for Minors in CVE
